Still working with the Bauer book and the first shot at a fiction classic, Cervanates' Don Quixote. I have to say her method does help with  retention, but it definitely slows me down.  But for now I'll go with the program.
In the First Level of Inquiry, I had some difficulty in summarizing what happened in the chapter.  Lots of bits that add the flavor and direction to the story seemed so very important, and they are, but not in a summary.  It reminds of a reverse outline idea where I have to back out all the details and bring down to the bare bones header line.  Maybe I'm beginning to understand where I'm going with this.  How does this fit into the second level?  I'll add that in another post.
